Default Email Templates

E-mail templates are preset e-mails that are sent out when specific tasks are triggered in the program.

Activating/Deactivating Templates

The program allows you to activate and deactivate any default template. Deactivating the template will prevent it from being sent out when the triggering act occurs. For example, if you deactivate the "Registration Complete" e-mail template, users will not receive an e-mail confirming their registration after creating their account.

Generally, users deactivate templates when they want more control over what is sent out. This control is generally achieved through custom actions.

To deactivate or activate a template, from the admin control panel:

  1. Click on "Templates » E-Mail Templates"
  2. Select the template that you wish to deactivate from the dropdown list.
  3. Set the Status setting to "Off"
  4. Save the changes.
