Field Sections

The program allows you to create fields named "Admin CP Section" fields. These fields are used for "grouping" purposes and allow you to display a specific set of fields within a fieldset on both the user management screen on the administrative control panel and on the user account update page. Note that this does not apply to registration forms, which have their own unique field rendering system.

In order to organize fields in "sections", do the following:

  1. Create a new field from "Settings » Custom Fields » New"
  2. Input a reference name for this field. Note that if you select this field in the Updatable Fields option, your users will see this on the user account update screen, so make it something that you would want them to see.
  3. Select "Admin CP Section" for the type.
  4. Input a description for this set of fields. Once again, users will see this, so make it something that you would want them to see.
  5. Submit the form. You will be redirected back to the field list.
  6. Now drag and drop the new section field to the location you want it to appear. Any fields below where you drop that section field will now be organized into that section.

Random ID

This is a special type of field which will generate a unique random ID in a format of your choosing based on what you input into the ID Format field. That ID will then be associated with the user's account. This is a good option for generating unique membership numbers.
